What to eat in the middle of night in Ipoh? Fret not, let’s have midnight supper at Restoran Foo San 富生茶餐室 (not to be mistaken as Foh San Dim Sum). Located just next to Yik Foong Complex or opposite UTC Ipoh, this is definitely one of the best spot.
Gathers great list of delicious foods such as curry noodles, chee cheong fun, honey chicken wing, fried noodles, nasi lemak and beef noodles. Business begins from 8pm until 4am you’ll be sure to find something fit your taste here, ready? Let’s explore;
Chee Cheong Fun
This is my favourite stall here, their simple Chee Cheong Fun with curry gravy is a definitely my type of Ipoh Chee Cheong Fun.
Their Chee Cheong Fun starts from RM2.80 (small), RM3.80 for large and Sar Kok Liu add-ons RM0.90/pcs. Their Curry Chicken Chee Cheong Fun RM5.00 is highly recommended.
They have several types of noodle like Prawn Noodle, Curry Noodle, Clear Soup Noodle and Dried Curry with Sar Kok Liu as per their latest menu below;
I ordered Prawn Noodle RM7.00 with add-on Red Char Siu (+RM2.00). The serving comes in big portion with two big prawns, slices of fish cake, few slices of lean pork meat topped with fried onions and kale and here I have add-on red Char Siu.
Overall the taste good, not too spicy but you can just mixed the whole sambal chili sauce that come with the noodle for more punch.
Honey Chicken Wing
One of the best barbecue Honey Chicken Wing in Ipoh, highly recommended.
